At the intersection of creative industries and popular education, SECONDE NATURE and ZINC act as intermediaries between digital shifts, the public, and professionals. They therefore played an important role locally as well as in the field of digital outreach.
Support to social and cultural operators caring for vulnerable groups in the face of digital technologies relies on the idea of e-inclusion, built on a less economic interpretation of digital technologies, and based on social innovations and new collaborative uses applied to experimentations in the field of digital art and culture.
We defend this cultural approach in our local and national networks, through HUB du SUD, which identifies, evaluates, pools and rallies resources in order to accelerate digital outreach in the Sud region, in line with public local policies. We also work with MEDNUM, a cooperative of digital outreach professionals created in 2016, which, together with the URBAN PROD association, made it possible to host the 2019 edition of the NEC symposium in Marseille on the theme of digital inclusion.
More generally, for all of our projects (exhibitions, workshops, conferences, etc.), we work with our partners towards examining issues of convergence, good practices, as well as cross-sectoral and user-friendly approaches that should prevail in the management of third spaces in France.
