Selected Pieces (Morceaux Choisis).

To celebrate the opening of the new building to house Méjanes library's heritage collection and Aix-en-Provence's municipal archives, artist Nicolas Clauss takes us on a journey into the images and graphic universes of these two collections.

The exhibition consists of a set of interactive paintings, moving works open to individual appropriation. The viewer takes possession of both the sound and the image, exploring these sonic and visual spaces while touching the image intuitively using a tactile interface.

These heritage documents are performed, reenacted, rerouted to touch us in a playful, sensitive and dreamlike way.
