A center for experimentation and the democratization of digital artistic and cultural practices, SECONDE NATURE and ZINC have a MEDIALAB and a FABLAB at the Friche de la Belle de Mai in order to support and stimulate the creativity of an increasingly varied public. Artists, enlightened amateurs or the simply curious, professionals or novices, everyone can benefit from access to these resource centers oriented towards the discovery of digital cultures and associated practices.

MEDIALAB is a center of resources, workshops and creative practices, with meetings linked to digital art and culture.  It is free and open to everyone. It provides access to documentation: books, magazines, technical and theoretical manuals, as well as to computer equipment with montage and editing software, cameras and video, a 360° camera, digital tablets and VR headsets to discover virtual and augmented reality. Coffee and WIFI are available for nice visitors!

Co-hosted by the association Reso-nance Numérique, the FABLAB is a free-access center where workshops and initiations are available thanks to a range of equipment including several digitally-controlled machines (3D printers, 2D and laser cutters, CNC milling machine) . Workshops and project documentation are available on the online knowledge sharing space.

IMPORTANT: Due to a major reorganization, the FABLAB is currently closed. It remains accessible for school projects and the artists supported by the structure.
